The Turkish currency is Turkish Lira. The coins in circulation are 0.5, 0.1 and 0.25 YTL. The Bank notes incirculation are 0.25, 0.5, 1, 5 10 and 20 YTL. (YTL: New Turkish Lira/Yeni Türk Lirası)
You can follow up the exchange rates in the newspapers,banks and foreign exchange offices. You change your currency at the banks, the foreign currency exchange offices, the post office, at the hotels and at the shops.

The banks are open from 08:30 AM till noon and from 13:00 PM till 17:00. ATM's are available at all bank branches and at main point of the district. You can exchange currency and traveler's checks at the banks.

Foreign currency exchange offices: You can exchange currency at the foreign currency exchange offices in the district.

Credit Cards: Widespread Credit cards like Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club are accepted in many places. You can withdraw money from the ATM's, which have also menus in English and German languages.
